Do you have time?

weekly memo

It’s hard to believe that March 1st is around the corner.

Time is flying by.

Health goals and resolutions set at the beginning of the year are now in the rear view mirror for most people.

Lately, I’ve met with people who want my help in improving their health.

But…

They don’t have time.

They can’t make the financial investment right now.

They’ll start when their schedule slows down.

Or their stress levels subside.

Or the kids go off to college.

Changing their nutrition and lifestyle feels daunting.

They want to start, but there’s hesitation.

Usually, it’s our brains that are offering us all of the reasons why now isn’t the right time.

Change feels threatening to your brain.

It requires energy to make a change.

So your brain will usually offer up all kinds of reasons why this isn’t a good time.

You can read more about what I call brain drama here.

Here’s the reality.

The right time will never show up.

Life will always throw curveballs.

You’ll always have a long to-do list.

If you’re a woman, you’ll likely always have family members to care for.

And…

You can have a busy, full life while improving your health.

Here are some of the clients I’ve worked with in the past.

A busy Mom of 3 kids under 7, and a first-grade teacher.

A Phd student who was working full-time.

A college professor working full-time.

A woman taking care of a 10 year old, her 86 year old Mom, and working part time.

It wasn’t a convenient time for any of them to improve their health.

Here’s what happened when they invested in themselves by getting coached by me to eat more nourishing foods, get outside for daily walks and sunshine, drink enough water, and prioritize themselves.

  • Less brain fog.
  • Less anxiety.
  • Fewer headaches.
  • Fewer cravings.
  • Less stressful thoughts.
  • Better digestion - less bloating and constipation
  • More energy.
  • More patience.
  • Improved glucose numbers.

I teach you how to eat real food and not how to diet.

All of the clients I mentioned don’t have hours a day to cook.

They have busy lives with many responsibilities.

They learned how to make simple meals with nourishing ingredients.

Drinking enough water can fix many symptoms.

Moving your body throughout the day helps with mood and sleep.

My Mom had post-stroke dementia in the last year of her life.

It almost emotionally broke me.

If I hadn’t leaned into eating whole, real food and moving my body, I’m not sure I would have made it through.

The time will never be right.

I promise you won’t regret improving your health.
